Close to the former Asfordby Street police station, the police station is best approached from East Park Road and is situated close to its crossroads with St Saviour's Road.

Can you help? pub distraction burgulary evingtonOfficers from Leicestershire Constabulary have released CCTV images of three men they are trying to trace after a distraction burglary at The Dove public house on Downing Drive in Evington.

At around 8am on Saturday March 10, 2007 the licensee opened the door to a man who wanted to discuss some intended building work on the pub car park. While he was distracted away from the door by the man, two other men entered the premises and stole a substantial amount of cash.

Description

The man who distracted the victim is described as white, aged between 30 and 35-years-old and of stocky build. He had black wavy hair, a tanned complexion and spoke with an Irish accent. He was wearing an olive parka style jacket, jeans and black trainers with white stripes.

DC Kevin Monk from Hamilton CID, said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the men in the images in the area at the time of the incident, or who has any information as to their identity, to get in contact with us.

"If you have any information regarding this incident, please get in touch."
