We believe that St Peters can be better.

It can be a better place to live, work, study and visit for all.

One of the biggest issues here in terms of its impact on the community here is litter. And it has been so for quite some time.

It is so endemic and part of the day to day life of the neighbourhood that people, even those responsible for managing the neighbourhood no longer notice it to such an extent that they are motivated to take realistic action over it.

St Peters NM feels that if people knew that there is a prospect of action being taken to identify them if they throw or leave litter that they would go out of their way to be more mindful about its disposal.

Do you know where to find our new Litter Bins in St Peters - Leicester?

St Peters NM worked hard with Leicester City Council to persuade them to provide additional litter bins for our neighbourhood.

Whilst we got no where near the 50 we asked for they are never the less very welcome and it is our hope their presence here in our neighbourhood makes a difference.
